At iupana, we are delighted to open nominations for our inaugural Financial Innovation Awards. These awards recognize the most innovative women and the most innovative initiatives in financial services in Latin America in 2020.
We invite nominations from the iupana community until October 30, for the two awards categories:
• Disruptoras: Most Innovative Women in Financial Services in 2020
• Disruptions: Most Innovative Financial Services Projects in 2020
The winners will be revealed in December, and they will be invited to participate in our Innovation Leadership Forums to be held in January and February 2021.
Innovation in the pandemic
Since its launch in 2018, iupana has sought to promote innovation in financial services, through our exclusive news coverage of the sector, our iupana Fintech Tracker information platform, and our virtual events to foster connections between industry leaders.
This year has highlighted how crucial innovation is for financial services. Customer behavior has taken a radical turn, prompting the industry to shift focus and explore new technology solutions.
Covid-19 was a great driver, adding new challenges for financial services – and the sector’s response demonstrates its great ability to adapt and evolve.
With all this in mind, we are proud to launch the ‘iupana Awards for Financial Innovation 2020’ to recognize the achievements and advances of our sector in an extraordinarily turbulent time.
