Globant acquires Grupo ASSA for $74.5 million

Globant, the technology services company, bought Grupo ASSA for $ 74.5 million in cash and shares. GA, as the acquired company is known, has vast experience in data science, machine learning, process intelligence, and operates in the United States, Europe and Latin America. For Globant, the acquisition will help strengthen its health and life sciences services, and complements its ability to implement transformation in the cloud. Part of the purchase price is deferred and dependent on financial performance.

BBVA Mx adds investment product trading to its app

BBVA Mexico has added a new self-service function: investment funds. Users will be able to buy and sell securities and promissory notes through the app at any time.

Sempli prepares digital credit card

Sempli, a Colombian fintech that lends to SMEs, is preparing a digital credit card for MSMEs. “Sempli Busines” is in the licensing process with Visa.
